Hi:

I have a 2001 Cannondale F600 with a Super Fatty fork. The headshock
leaks air. I don't know yet from where (example, the inlet valve vs.
on another part of the shock). In general, are leaks on those forks
repairable?

Thanks.
Kevin

Cannondale has all sorts of specialized tools to service their forks.
Without the investment in the tools, you're SOL.

Cannondale doesn't normally sell parts to DIY mechanics. You may be
able to get parts and tools here:

Thanks. I was thinking of taking the fork to my LBS, who is
Cannondale-certified. I just wanted to know if the fork would be
servicable or if I should start looking at replacements.

Thanks.

I think you'll find it may be cheaper to buy a used fork or NOS fork
on ebay than to get your fork serviced by a Cannondale dealer.

I bought a used but working-perfectly Super Fatty SL on ebay for $150
last year.

I might just have to look around on eBay first then.

Thanks for the tip!
