This is a promotion for a ride which I like very much. If this is not the proper forum, I apologize.
The Armadillo Hill Country Classic is a charity ride sponsored by the Austin Cycling Association (
http://www.austincycling.org ) on May 10, 2003. The starting point is Liberty Hill High School in
Liberty Hill, Texas, about 30 miles northwest of Austin. The ride takes you through the beautiful
Hill Country of central Texas during the peak of the spring flowering season. I've ridden in this
area many times and it is indeed pretty. Rides of 14, 28, 42, 51, 62, 80, 100 and 120 miles (yes, a
double-metric century!) are being offered this year.

New for 2003, the Armadillo Hill Country Tour will include a special Kids & Family Ride Option of
6.5 miles starting in the bike-friendly town of Bertram, TX a few miles down the road from offical
starting point for the Classic edition of this popular ride.
