hey everyone-i have an '03 (grey) cervelo P3 with a stripped right rear
dropout screw hole. for those that don't know the frame, it has track
rear dropout with an adjustment screw that treads into the chainstay.
it looks like the old school adjustment screws on bikes with horizontal
dropouts. it allows one to adjust the distance between the rear wheel
and the frame. anyway, the treads on the hole on the right dropout are
stripped. is there a safe way to fix this? the previous owner took it
to his mechanic and got a little spacer installed under the head of the
screw. it essentially keeps the screw from moving forward. it looks
like it works but i'm wondering whether it would be better to just tap
out the hole to a bigger size and install a new screw. any ideas?
