So the deal is my wife is needing a new bike. I'm 99% sure it is a 17" and she is 5' 3" tall and fit on a Medium(18") Revel and liked it but she was stretched a bit. A local shop has a new XTC but they want $1500. Since it was $2100 back in '05 I thought it may be a good deal but wondered if it is really worth it for a 6 year old bik without disc brakes (it can have them put on though as it is compatible). This is all contingent on a short ride to make sure it fits though. Thoughts anyone?? Should I offer less?
