Hey guys, first time poster, looking forward to spending more time here and learning more about bikes.. I have been riding for about 3 yrs now on a trek 1.2 52 cm and wanting to get something bigger.. Looking at a 2008 specialized tarmac expert 54 cm in good condition and they are asking $1150.. Any advice on this would be more than appreciated!!

The Bicycle Blue Book (bicyclebluebook.comSearchListingDetail.aspxOpen ↗) lists the value of the 2009 Tarmac Expert from $993 (fair condition) to $1555 (like new). If memory serves me, the major change from 2008 to 2009 was a new frame with tapered head tube and more bulk for stiffness around the bottom bracket and chain stays. This asking price isn't out of line if the bike is in good condition.
