2009 TDF stage 14: Colmar - Besançon 199 km



As much as i like Cav and I want to see him in green he did move to the right. At least that is my impression. So Hushovd has a point. As for what u say about better sprinter maybe they should award the green jersey to the sprinter with the most wins/seconds/thirds etc and not having that points system, it doesnt feel right for Cav to lose it when he has repeatedly kicked Hushovd's and Farrar's **** in the sprints...
The green jersey is about more than winning sprints at the finish. Hushovd has proved this in TdF, unlike Cavendish. It favours riders like Hushovd because he's older and more accomplished. Cavendish is still young and still just a sprinter. And another thing, Cavendish was disqualified before Cervelo even handed in their appeal.
 
While it would have been nice to see big George Don the yellow, it really has no bearing on the race at all. Who really cares who did what
