2014 40k mile challenge for clydes

So if you start the year over 200lb but fall under it at some point, does only the distance covered above 200lb count?

Probably the only way to get to the 40K mark. We clydes have failed to get even close for the past few years.

That's my dilemma. Last year I started at 208lbs and got down to 190lbs while I was racing so technically, I wasn't a clyde anymore. Now I'm back up to about 215lbs or so.

I'll be logging my miles until I drop below 200lbs again.

....now if only this snow will go away!

Man I thought I had a problem with just beer and you're all busy snorting coke... ... Oh, you meant snow on the ground.

So far I've got 148 miles to add. Started 2014 at 213lbs with a little more discipline in my diet should be below 200 before tool long...

So 279+148

427

January Mileage -> 530 (trainer) + 70 (road) = 601

427 + 601 = 1028

1028+230 = 1258

Feb wasn't such a good month. Got more than my Feb's total already in March...

I assume 40k miles for the year is cumulative for the group. Else that is one long way for one rider.

As of this morning I can add 696 for the year 1258 + 696 = 1954.

242 lbs and all muscle. I Just hide my muscles well.

Feb Totals are a little low because of a week's vacation:

41 (road) + 380 (trainer) = 421

421 + 1954 = 2375

March will be better.

Hi I am 309lbs and for this year I have road 818 mile or 1,316k I am hopping to brake 1000 mile by my 38th birthday in April.

2375 and adding Jerry's 818 = 3193

573 in March - most of which was in two rides a 200km and 300km. 310 miles in two rides and not too much else the rest of the month... Doh.

3193 + 573 = 3766

March, 291 miles (road), 400(trainer) = 691 miles

3766 + 691 = 4457

Who came up with 40,000 miles anyway? What's the rational behind the number?

No idea, it should be easily achievable - but we have never hit it.

Keep up on the calorie intake Swampy, we can use the miles.

Not sure why but I'm actually putting weight on. Mystifying really. I should be good for >200lbs for the at least a couple of months and still have a 400km, 600km and a double century to do in the next couple of months.

A nice even 400 for April.

4457 + 400 = 4857

I'll have more than last months total done by next weekend... A few more miles this month...
