I previously started a thread regarding a Cervelo and Colnago. However, I’ve definitively reduced my options to a Trek Emonda. I was sold on the SL 6, but considering that I am a tad too long for the 62cm frame, my salesperson. recommended the SL 5 with a 105 group set, and upgrading the handlebars to 460mm in carbon, lengthening the stem, and swapping seat posts. I was a bit bummed for not going with ultegra, but I suppose it wouldn’t matter too much for me. My question is whether or not I should go SL 5 and upgrade, or go stock SL 6 and make changes subtle over time?
