Check out these 3 new cycling inventions being made by Quirky. I would like to get feedback on them

Idea 1. Quickguard - bicycle fenders that attach via the quick release and don't touch the frame:

Idea 2. ergoPost - bicycle seatpost that slides forward while riding:

Ideas 3. Bicycle Turbine Light - a bicycle light powered by the wind drag as you ride:

Interesting ideas - but a couple of suggestions and comments.

How do those mudguards handle stuff like rocks, small branches, trash etc.. getting stuck in them? Most fixed muguards with inadequate clearence with trap such items and either just make a noise or cause the item to shred the tire. From what I can see, it might be that such 'junk' might cause the mudguard to spin around and smack into the frame. How hard is it to rotate the mudguards when the quick release skewers are tightened?

Ergopost - Look already has that name. Interesting idea though. Wouldn't mind trying that one out. I recall there being a similar idea but the intent behind it being the redistribution of weight on a steep climb. Do you have these for sale?

because the mudguard weighs only 200 grams, the quick release holds it very tight, even over rough country roads or city tram rails. Getting rocks and branches stuck in there is not really a concern because the guards are intended for road bikes, not off road riding. Besides the gap looks close on my images, but its not that close to trap tiny stone and twigs.

With ergoPost I'll have to rethink the name, I forgot about the Look seatpost, do you have any suggestion? It could also be used for climbing, you are correct, sitting further forward while climbing can use different muscle groups and give other muscles a short rest, it would be great for that. Current its being developed so its not for sale yet, but you'll be the first to know when I finish it
