Hi, I ave a hed disc wheel with a 7 speed screw on freehub body. Is it possible in any way to convert this to shimano 9 speed?

I don't know anything about the HED wheel but I think you are out of luck. Even if the HED wheel uses a Shimano cassette, moving to a 8/9 speed cassette means you will have to redish the wheel. If I'm not mistaken, the HED wheel cannot be redished so the rim would be off-center.

On a Shimano freehub you remove the retaining bolt with a 10mm Allen wrench and the freehub drops out in your hand. Putting a 8/9 speed cassette onto the hub will push the hub over about 5 or 6 mm and will require that you redish the wheel to correct this.

...Or, depending on frame clearence, it can be fixed by replacing the spacers inside the locknuts.
