8" Rotor For Better Braking Power?

My Marzocchi 66s are built just fine for 8" rotor, same for Fox 36s.
Both manufacturers recommend 6" or 8" rotors, though they stress max of
8".

No freeriding here either, just 225 pounds of xc blubber to stop.
