I am doing my annual disassembly, clean and inspect routine on my bike. My questions are:
1) What is the proper maintenance for the Dura Ace shifters? How to clean and how to lube?
2) How can I tell if my headset needs maintenance or replacing? It is the original Ultegra model from aprox 1998 and has about 20K miles on it. I rarely ride in the rain and have never done anything to it. What is the service procedure? Can bearings be found at a bearing supply house or would I have to go to Shimano?
