Zabel is my pick for the winner ;D

Well, I do believe it will be a bunch sprint again. Theoretically, Cipressa and Poggio should be ideal for a climber like Bettini or Bartoli to get away, but in the past 5 years or so, that never happened.
However, I doubt if Zabel can win again this year. For one thing, he has so far not shown the brilliant early season form of previous years. Also, he may miss his lead-out man Fagnini who was injured in a crash at T-A.
Personally, I think it will be decided between Freire (very strong team, always good in "messy" sprints) and McEwen (great season so far, really improved his climbing abilities).

I say the odds are against Zable winning again... it's time for someone else, not that Zabel can't win it.
