After recently coming across a decent amount (450$) of money I decided it was time to go and -buy- a bike. Originally I was wary of buying a bicycle off the internet because of the high shipping costs and the risk of being ripped off. HOWEVER I have no choice in the matter as in the area I live in there are no decent LBS's for..30 miles. Tooo far for a guy who has no car and would have to 'commute' (struggle) with a 15 year old Steel framed Huffy(aka tank) to and from... 🙁 (Yeah, its so old, it has a lifetime warranty on the frame, how longs it been since huffy....LOL)
