I currently have a 1500 and am thinking about getting a TT bike as well. At my local shop they have a Trek Equinox 7 for $1299.00, are there any other good TT bikes out there in this price range.

At that price range, not really. I would maybe think about the Felt S25 for 1450 or so. Equipped with 9 sp 105/Ultegra, and has a 55/44 crankset. All around a bit better. I have never ridden Felt, but they seem pretty good for the money.

A Cervelo Dual would be nice. A fine TT bike outfitted with Ultegra 10 for 1700. P2k with Ultegra 10 for 2100 is great - but in another price bracket.

If its the current 2005 model, jump on it for the price. I just got mine last week and am LOVING it. The 2004 model was subpar in a few areas that are addressed with the new bikes. It's smoother than my older GT Zr5000 I had, a LOT smoother.
