I have a Suunto t3c with a quick release bike sensor which works rather well, but now I have replace my front wheel with an Alfine dynohub wheel, the distance from the magnet to the sensor is now too large so the sensor will not work..
Does any one know if the sigma power magnet will work with other bike computers?
They claim at least for sigma sensor they can handle up to 20mm.
Given the appropriate distance, just about any magnet will work with any computer. so your Sigma magnet will work with other computers. If you want more powerful magnets there are rare earth magnets that can be had cheap on eFlay, elsewhere on the web, and at Radio Shack. Also, Cateye magnets seem to do a bang up job where other computers' magnets fail.
