No, have't got the strength do do much with these legs, though walk/shuffle well enough to get to
bus stops. Live on bus route & London 305 or 302 take me to next PT connection.

Bicycles have gone to a variety of fairly happy homes.

alt.fan.pratchett rec.arts.sf.written rec.arts.drwho.moderated

and alt.rec.bicycles.recumbent on days when I can cope with the rampant top-posting and appalling
failure to snip that prevails there. I hope it's because they're mostly USAliens and not something
that 'bents do to your brain. I don't *think* I've succumbed yet....

Sidcup (Sarf Lunnon) originally, now inhabiting a bit of East Yorkshire perilously close to Hull.

Born in Blackpool. Lived in St. Annes, Clitheroe, Ainsdale (nr Southport), Bramley (nr Guildford),
Runfold (nr Farnham) and now Worthing.

When living in Ainsdale, Bramley & Runfold I was at school in Upper Woolhampton (between Newbury and
Reading (aka Guysville)).

LOL. Its true that Willesden domiciled members of the Willesden CC are a very rare species. However
a careful nesting and nurturing programme has seen these numbers of these shy and timid creatures
increase over the last few years.

If you fancy rejoining then membership forms are available at

A little late on this one!

I subscribe to the following public newsgroups comp.lang.clarion (work related) uk.railway
uk.rec.cycling
+ groups on a couple of private newsservers. (Work related)

I did try a few others but decided they were a waste of time.

I am also a moderator (sysop) on a couple of CompuServe message boards (forums) for those that can
remember those!

Finally, I subscribe to the [email protected] listserver (www.topica.com and search for
uk-urbancyclist).

York, home of the Annual York Cycle Rally where I have met (face-to-face) a few subscribers here.
Yet to meet HDV though, although I've met her bike (Orbit Harrier, IIRC).

For contact via email use my real name with an underscore separator at the domain of CompuServe.

I used to do that some years ago. It was the Ziff-Davis bit of Compuserve---I never quite understood
the relationship but I took the cheques.

Alas I can no longer ride that bicycle, so it has another rider (though the bike still stays in my
garage). It still bears my name and might accompany my companion to the York Rally. I hope to be
camping on the Lightweight pitch. I'm sure you can find me if you wish (send me an email for more
exact details re: pitch & phobile numbers if you wish). I have met Arthur Clune. Simon Ward & quite
a few other posters.
