I've done very little cycling since half-term when I did the coast to coast
section of Hadrian's Cycleway from South Shields to Bowness on Solway.
Somehow motivation evaporated and last weekend was my first ride in a month.
An email exchange with MSeries led to some DIY 100km BP Audax ride planning
and following a quick validity check with Sheila Simpson I'm all set for
four rides in December. My enthusiasm was further enhanced by the
inspection of the Audax calender with some very appealing 200km rides from
late May onwards. I'm aiming to be lighter and seeing that my Audax year
looks set to start two months earlier than last year's I should be fit
enough to get five or six in before having a go at a 300km.
Looks like I've made my New Year's resolutions a tad early :-)
