but rather, it's interesting to *look* at these things - as often for
amusement as admiration. Many of them have clear pictures.

I guess you're not recommending the Mafac Competition center pull brakes
(curently at $92.11)? My ears still hurt from the pair I had in the '70s.

I just bought a Rivetts 1956 bicycle with these brakes. The invoice had
the entire bike at $121...

I've been riding the same set of Sante hubs for close to 15 years on my
commuter bike. Upgraded the freehub body from 7 to 8 speed Uniglide to
Hyperglide (so I could find replacement cogs). Still work great, lots
of seals.

Failed attempt at marketing. Yes. Bought em for a song at a Nashbar
outlet near Falls Church, VA that has long since gone the way of the
dodo.
