I have been diagnosed with erosive oral lichen plaunus. From the research I have done and what my
doctors tell me, they aren't exactly sure what causes it, although they have some theories. They
don't really have a cure for it either. It is a rash that develops in the mouth and may hang around
for weeks. Some Dr's say it isn't painful but when it goes to erosive lichen planus, I would have
to argue with them on that. The Dr gave me some magic mouth wash but nothing really for the pain.
Does anyone know of something I could get to ease the pain? There is some Lidocaine in the mouth
wash but apparently very little, or the Lidocaine isn't very effective. I appreciate anyones advice
on this. Tom
