absolute lymphocytes

    Recently I've had a lot of bowel troubles (possibly IBS).
    Could someone tell me what it may mean when the absolute
    lymphocytes are quite low -- the results say I have 334
    cells/mcl. The acceptable range shows as 850-3900.

    Here are some other readings:

    WBC 4.4 thous/mcl RBC 4.28 mill/mcl MCV 101.2 fl
    absolute lymphocytes 334 cell/mcl absolute monocytes 255
    cell/mcl absolute eosinophils 9 cells/mcl absolute
    basophils 18 cells/mcl

    neutrophils 86% lymphocytes 7.6% monocytes 5.8% eosinophils
    0.2% basophils 0.4%

    calcium, serun 8.4 mg/dl

    BUN/creatinine ratio 58.6

    I am on a high protein diet - have been for over 1 year --
    no meat - just protein powders and egg whites
