  1. Just done a bit more than 100 on the local club Sunday run.

Slow ride, so not demanding, but my postural musculature is acclimatized
to 50 mile rides, so right now I ache in a number of places.

In fact, I found my spinning performance significantly affected by the
discomfort engendered by pedalling rapid, where the skin at the top
inside of the thigh had became a little raw/sensitive.

Wrists hurt, flanks hurt, back top of shoulder hurts, biceps and triceps
    hurt, butt hurts.

    Hungry 🙂

I can sympathise as I am a wee bit hurty today - had a BIG off on my
mountain bike this afternoon. I hadn't done any real mountain biking for a
couple of years and had forgotten that braking on gravel is a wee bit more
critical than braking on tarmac! I was really enjoying myself flying down a
steep descent which ended in a sweeping right hand bend. I realised I going
just a tad too fast for the bend and grabbed the brakes - a bit too sharply
:-) Before I knew it the back end was trying to overtake the front end and
it was all over - I was flying through the air at 20mph. Ouch! On reflection
I was a bit lucky - bashed up knee and hip (shorts well ripped!) but after
washing off the blood I jumped back on and continued on my way - somewhat
more cautiously. I'm feeling quite sore tonight - but at least I finished
    the ride - and re-learned a lesson :-)

Do you carry anti-septic wipes? I found that plasters are useless,
because they just won't stick on sweaty skin, but the anti-septic wipes
are very effective and useful. It's reassuring to have a clean wound,
rather than one where you'd reduced to pouring water over the injury and
trying to just finger away the dirt.

That's a good idea - in fact I don't even have a first aid box in the car -
I will rectify that situation. I hope your aches and pains are receding -
although in my experience they can often be more acute a couple of days
    later :-(
