They didn't invent the bicycle.

The first in the line to the modern bicycle was probably
the Draisienne invented by Baron von Drais de Sauerbrun.
1816-1818.

The first modern bicycle is likely the "Rover Saftey
Bicycle" introduced by
g.A. Starley of England in 1885.

great lyden! ham and eggs! did otto lilienthal have a
bicycle? gotta map the idea. not original... well not
entirely original. i came up the street parallel to a main
canal, one leveed by the bed once used by collier cypress to
ship cypress box material north to Chicago via RR. an
incoming gliding cattle egret, a major league flyer kept
pace and i had time to punch thru and develop airfoil
concepts/vizualizations. good chance the Bros. did same.

by the way. original cypress? i hear 3-4 acres. check the
map.and no virginia it does not grow back.
