Adapting a 9mm quick release hub to a 15mm thru axle

I have a nice 26" Chris King 9mm qr wheelset that I would like to know if there's an adapter to converting them to 15mm through axle. I know that there are adapters for converting a 15mm thru axle to 9mm quick release, but I know nothing about vice versa.
I'm doubtful about an adapter, but I thought I'd pose the question anyway.

Try contacting CHRIS KING, directly ... If there isn't a conversion "kit" that they can sell you, directly, then they will probably ask you send the hubs/wheels back to them so that they retrofit them for you. If your hubs cannot be retrofitted, then buy DT SWISS hubs the next time you feel a need to buy some high zoot hubs!

If it's a R45 or a Classic hub you're outa luck.

If you have the ISO hub with the 9mm quick release option then you can retrofit the 15mm axle.

It's basically the case of - is the hole big enough? Big axle small hole problem and can't be fixed by putting some hair on top and adding lube...
