Advice about cycling in the south of france

Hi all,
I'm planning a few days cycling with friends in the South of France. It'll be around April/May.
We were thinking of exploring the South Eastern coast, say from Nice on to the border with Italy and maybe beyond.
We'll take our own bikes and gear but we need someone who can take us places (Col de la Madone...? )) and show us around.

Any suggestion, links, contacts?

I'd suggest looking at routes on Strava or similar sites. You can download routes and load them on your phone or cycling computer. I'd also suggest that you contact local bike shops for ride recommendations and possible group rides. Final suggestion is book on a tour.
