My beloved Bianchi Boardwalk was stolen, and it now looks like Bianchi no longer makes hybrids of this type. I mainly ride around town (some hills), including a very short commute (no hills), but would like to be able to do so in all weather, including some snow and ice. I would also like to take occasional recreational bike rides, usually not more than 10 miles, including some dirt roads, but no off-road. Budget is open. Our local bike shops carry only three brands (Trek, Gary Fisher and Bianchi), so I would be very grateful for recommendations before I look farther afield. Thank you!
