Aero bar recommendation for "thick" handle bar?

Syntace C2 should work fine...it has a clamp similar to the
two-bolt faceplate commonly found on threadless stems.

Hmmm... I did a little more research on what i have. It
seems my bars are 31.7 mm Deda Newton's. I just looked on
syntace's web site at the C2 - they look perfect for my
needs, except for the following spec:

Clamp Ø
26. mm

So, they don't claim to fit by bars. argh.

Any other recommendations, or can anyone say if the C2's
will actually fit?

Try the Deda Clip One Aero Bar. It's available in 31.7. And
it's pretty, too.

Thanks for the info... looks like there are a couple of choices.
FYI, i wrote to Syntace to ask if their C2 would clip on a 31.7 and
here's the response i got (a bit of broken english, but a very prompt
reply):

Yes, all Syntace aerobars will fit on 31.8mm base bars if
you use it together with the Syntace 318 Kit (see:
syntace.comsyntace.comOpen ↗ ) Just check two things:

1. Has your bar a wide enough straight center section
to leave about 20mm space beneath the stemhead for
the aerobar?

2. Is your base bar approved from the manufacturer for
beeing used with aerobars? (We recommend only to use
such base bars that have a special reinforced
centersection because of fatiguelife issues)
