shortbread cookies (primarily for the interesting tin). It had been $18,
now $3.50.

Even better, I went to a new C.P. in a new shopping area out on the
prairie after I met some ladies for lunch on Monday. I bought a
panettone and a pandoro (Italian fruit bread and cake) which had sold for
~$10 each. On sale, they were a total of $3.95.

If my family started celebrating Christmas in late January I'd save a
fortune!

I noticed some interesting sales at the standard grocery stores,
particularly after the 1st. The party-type foods were on sale including
shrimp, jarred stuff like olives, some cheeses, and other things that you
might find at a party. And they had bakeware on sale too. Silicone pans and
those disposable aluminum ones were way cheap. I didn't buy any, but I did
pick up an extra silicone baking mat. And they had a roasting pan with rack,
baster & accessories for $3.50.

Ditto here. 75% (or more) off all Christmas items. I love CP, and I love it
even more when they have sales like this.
