Between lengthy production delays, a sales slump, and an investigation of the top executives selling off their own shares of the company, the outlook for Airbus seems questionable at best.

It seems there are also structural issues with the fuselage:

Pity they didn't follow Boeing's lead of producing a smaller, more fuel efficient airplane.

Would that be the Vaporware one or the one that has structural problems ?

It's just another scare story from the Boeing PR dept.

So that's why Forgeard sold off his EADS stock for $3.1 million. How silly of the AMF to question the timing.

Boeing must have one hell of a PR department..........

It seems there are even more woes for EADS Airbus.

Emirates Airline and FedEx have dropped their Airbus orders for the A340 and A380 aircraft respectively. Emirates is also assessing the accuracy of a two year production delay for an unfulfilled order of A380 aircraft. Instead, both Emirates and FedEx ordered the more cost efficient Boeing 777. Not surprisingly, Boeing's stock value rose and EADS fell.
