The testing regime appears to be highlighting more and more instances of riders doping.
Gonzalez was being hotly tipped to do well at the Vuelta.

....I think its highlights the Spanish cycling organisation is willing to announce positive test rather than brush them under the carpet...... ie Hamilton, Perez and now Gonzalez……..

The Aitor-haters out there just can't stand it that a Spanish rider won the Tour de Suisse this year. When will the Aitor-haters get it: scientific tests performed by professional scientists are completely unreliable!

Looks like there is a mole in the UCI releasing positives that would normally be covered up.......... they better shut it down before it gets worse..... deep throat ?guncha said:L'Equipe strikes the **** once again...
ps Rogers must be getting sick and tired of losing big races to drug cheats........ ie Tour de Suisse and World Champs to Miller......whiteboytrash said:Looks like there is a mole in the UCI releasing positives that would normally be covered up.......... they better shut it down before it gets worse..... deep throat ?

There is still a big powerstruggle going on between different factions of the UCI, read cyclingnews about the Spanis cyclist federation, Vuelta and UCI....MJtje said:From Velonews:
Gorospe (euskatel sport director) alluded to that story, urging it's prudent to wait until official notification comes from the appropriate authorities.
"It's the same media that leaked about Armstrong and others, and in the end it was nothing," he said. "It's sad, but that's the kind of news we have these days and we're going to see where it ends."
Schenk is doing a great job at exposing there athletes....or is it verbruggen....oh no wait maybe leon schattenberg........
Serious seems that someone at the UCI is leaking a lot of information that the public would normally NOT know off......and all to ressiot!!
So the latest news is that the test was positve for anabolics.cyclingheroes said:There is still a big powerstruggle going on between different factions of the UCI, read cyclingnews about the Spanis cyclist federation, Vuelta and UCI....
Extract of interview with Belgian Professor Delbeke, doping hunter:hombredesubaru said:So the latest news is that the test was positve for anabolics.
Weird and unlikely since anabolics are the easiest drugs to test for and THAT test has been validated many times over in horses, dogs, humans and in all conditions.

......That evolution is necessary, especially for anabolic steroids. Athletes are using more and more cocktails: very small amounts of anabolic steroids that are very hard to detect, but when you take them as a cocktail they have the same effect.
I would place more reliance on the expertise of Professor Delbekehombredesubaru said:a "doping hunter" eh?
Who is the pry?
Do they hang stuffed heads over their mantles?
Who does the taxidermy?
No thank you, I dont think we need witch hunts or dope hunters.
Simple tests, labs that are honest, privacy rights enforced, and real science not voodoo and demagogues like **** Pound.
