Would like to use a GPS system which could accept the Memory map software I
have, never used a GPS before and thought I may try the one on offer at Aldi
this weekend, from the description can anyone advise as to the capabilities
of this item and would it be a good first buy ?

smaller, designed for hand-held *outdoor* use, etc. Smaller Garmin and
Magellan stuff would be where I'd look.Might be OK for a road navigation device; see threads on uk.rec.gps for
comments on those uses.No idea if it can interface with MemoryMap software.
