Allez Race M@ vs. Tarmac Mid Comp

I'm looking at buying a used bike (because I feel I can get a better bike for the money) and am trying to decide between a 2014 Allez Race M2 with 105 components, or a 2013 Tarmac Mid Comp with Soras. I could get either for $1000, but the Race is w/o pedals. Any thoughts as to whether it would be better to go for the better components or the carbon frame?

Not really. I've been riding carbon frames for about six years, but if I were choosing between low-end carbon and middling-to-high-end aluminum, I'd probably prefer the aluminum.

Give them both a test ride and try not to be prejudiced.
