I have been told that I have a case of genetal HPV (warts).
I have always been very safe, but I believe that my
girlfriend has it and gave it to me (she has been having
abnormal pap smears for some time now). I saw my doctor, and
he prescribed me with Aldara 5%, which is a 3M product that
essentially creates an immune response at the location of
the warts, helping the body to get rid of them.
Unfortunately, I am now of the age where despite being a
student with health insurance, I do not have a prescription
plan (I am already paying $300+/mo for health insurance as
it is). Aldara (12 packets, good for 36 days) is ranging in
price from $185-225 for the box of 12. Unfortunately, I
cannot afford this.
I am not interested in trying anywhing illegal or getting
drugs from Canada, which I guess is what is common now. So,
I would appreciate any knowledge I can get of similar herbal
or otherwise medications that I can obtain at a natural
foods/homeopathic store, which aould work well for the
removal of warts or the inducing of an immune response.
Any help would be most appreciated.
