  1. Requested: Amish Cinnamon Bread Starter
I am specifically looking for the starter recipe that contains 1 cup
flour, 1 cup sugar, and 1 cup milk only. I have lost my recipe with this
    starter. please help....

    Amish Bread or Friendship Bread

1 (.25oz) dry pkg. active yeast
    1/4 cup warm water (110 deg F or 45 deg C)
3 Cups All Purpose flour divided
    3 Cups white sugar divided
    3 cups milk

In small bowl dissolve yeast with water. let it stand 10 min.
    In 2 qt container ( glass bowl,plastic container)combine 1C sugar and 1C
flour.Mix thoroughly otherwise flour will lump when milk is added.

Slowly add milk and yeast mixture cover loosely let stand til bubbly.
Consider this day 1 of the 10 day cycle.
Leave covered loosely at room temp.
Days 2-4 use a stir starter with spoon.
Days 5 stir in 1C flour 1C sugar and 1C milk.
    Day6-9 Stir only
    Day 10 Stir in 1C flour,1C sugar,and 1C milk.
Remove 1C to make your bread, and give 2 Cups away to 2 of your friends
and 1C for yourself to start all over.(I put my friends in ziplock bags)
    ENJOY!!!!
