I had Friday afternoon off work - left at 12:15. Home by 12:30. Train to Charing Cross, cycle across
Hyde Park to Paddington, 13:33 to Bodmin Parkway arrived at 17:22. Cycled NCN 3 to the Camel Track,
then to Padstow. Up steep hill to campsite, pitched and walked to pub with friends.
An excellent walk from Padstow to Newquay along the SW Coastal Path on Saturday - yes... I did pack
my walking boots in my panniers! Bus back to Padstow. BBQ on the campsite.
Today - packed tent etc into panniers, then cycled the Camel Track to Poley Bridge with 8 friends,
then back to Bodmin, lunch, said goodbye, then off to Bodmin Parkway. Train at 15:01, Paddington at
18:55, home by 8pm.
Why would anyone consider driving all that way!? My friends did!!!
