Well, diff'rent strokes fer . . . That bar comes on some Gary Fishers, so I've tried it, and it really isn't bad. It just looks funny.

I'm thinking that a Pro Vibe 7s compact would work well under my Force levers.

Bar width is another tender subject that could use some study. It seems like they started getting wider in the early 70s, peaked around the early '00s, and now they're getting narrower. I remember building stock bikes in larger sizes with 46 cm bars a few years ago, and now most manufacturers don't even make them anymore.

I never got on with the ergonomic handlebars with the flat section in the bend or with the hump in the flat section. I very much like the new progressive bend bars, like my 3T Ergonova.
