...and we click into another week.

So, rec.runners, what are you going to do with your next five days? Trudge along in the same old
rut? Say much the same old things to the same old people? Run the same old routes in the same old
shoes following the same old training plans?

Well not me. This week I shall:

Make a new friend.

Make a new enemy.

Travel everywhere by bus and be unreasonably friendly to all I meet.

Cut my hair in a strange style.

Wear a suit.

Run in the rain.

Come home v-e-r-y late, possibly drunk.

Anyway, that's enough of that. Did I tell you I was in Amsterdam one April and, with a couple of
friends, I picked heaps of the tulips that litter the parks and used them to completely cover the
little Fiat car of a nurse I was seeing? Was bloody hilarious at the time. Great days...

I first read this as 'be reasonably unfriendly to all I meet'.

Me? I'm gonna cut the soles off my shoes, sit in a tree and learn to play the flute.

I'll bet the "make a new enemy" part will be much easier than the "make a new friend" part.

Please let me know your bus schedule. I'll be at your house making a new friend with your wife. ;)

Were you window shopping in red light district for ladies of the night(or day)?

Help yourself. Soon. Please.

I was on a study visit with my Uni class.

Of course we went to gawp at the ladies too. Let me tell you, there were some spectacular beauties
amongst them. I'll never understand why *anyone* would sell their body for cash. Our body is the
only thing we really own. There must be a great deal of greed and/or self loathing in prostitution.
Having said that, if it gets them where they want to be...go girls, go!
