It used to be that Animal Lopez, the great boxer, was the hard man. I think Animal Lopez falls a distant second to Jens Voigt, who rode away from everyone about 11 miles into todays USA Pro Challenge stage. Not bad for a guy who's about to turn 41 in a month and has abused himself in about every way possible on a bike. It was a helluva win for Voigt.
