    Very interesting article, SB.

She seems to get off on making political talk during the act of passion!
    An entire psychological casestudy.
    Is that Jungian or Freudian???

After reading other articles (look on the right hand side) by the same author I think Jungian.
Somehow...I knew Wurmie would enjoy this!

Probably we do but nobody as entertaining! If she believes half of what she writes then she is clearly quite mad. I think she is trying to be a more strident version of P.J. O'Rourke minus the humour and while her columns are widely read I refuse to believe that she is taken seriously. I think (particularly as the American political pendulum is beginning the slow return to sanity) that it's more a case of 'Let's see what the madwoman has written lately!'

I don't remember if I've posted this cartoon here before but it's worth a rerun, just by way of saying 'Welcome back'. The quintessential Aussie cartoon...

Wasn't it Churchill who said something about Merkin's will do the right thing after they've exhausted all other possibilities?

Indeed he did, and the old warmonger showed amazing prescience (considering he died before Ann Coulter was born), when he said 'I may be drunk madam, but tomorrow I'll be sober... you will still be ugly.'
She looks like a horse and a pretty ugly horse at that. 'Republican pinup girl' Bwahahaha...lefties get all the best chicks!

Melanie Philips of the Daily Mail is subject to hyperbole and melodrama and ranting on about how things are disintegrating.
Completely over the top - but then again the paper which she writes for is
    crap.
In Philips case, she's an object of ridicule.

What was the name of your wan who used to write for the Irish Independent, but got the heave-ho when she denigrated the participants in the Special Olympics? She seems to have vanished into right-wing limbo........she was like a cartoon conservative, all second-hand ideas.

I've seen a pic or two of her from @10yrs. ago & she appeared to be quite "fetching" (as opposed to inducing retching ;) ). Do you suppose the photo dept. was overly liberal w/ the use of the air-brush to compensate for, shall we say-physical short-comings:confused:
