Another spectacular crash for Tyler Hamilton

Check out the VeloNews homepage for a Bloody pic of cyclings favorite tough guy Survivor after his latest crash in the Tour of Holland. It looks like there was an artery involved. No broken bones, just a mere 15 stitches!

Actually, there was a broken bone. From Cyclingnews.com:

Broken finger for Hamilton
It's been confirmed that Tyler Hamilton (Team CSC) broke his middle finger after crashing in Stage 2 of the ENECO Ronde van Nederland. Hamilton received 14 stitches to the damaged finger and did not start the third stage Thursday.

I wonder what he was doing with his middle finger? (Although I'd probably be most likely to break that one too!)


Being serious for a moment, it's a real shame that it happened. I wonder if he'll race in Hamilton, or whether he's had enough for the season?
