Any good Tour books?

Hi, I am also researching routes for cycling across Canada this summer- and haven't been able to find any road tour books either.
I am piecing together my route from a combination of topographical and detailed provincial road maps and cross-referencing them with provincial parks and campgrounds.
If you come across a guidebook or something worthwhile, I'd be interested to know about it.
As for the Trans Canada Trail, your right it is incomplete (9,000 km are done out of 18, 709) and if the portion by my house is any indication, it is not something you would want to tour on.

Some sections, in Quebec for instance, are cyclable and are mostly used as bike path. The problem is that in some cases the trail is extremely boring.

For Quebec, you can Google 'route verte' for the provincial network of bike roads (not always the best choice in my opinion).

In Quebec, I always suggest people to ride road 138 from Montreal to Quebec City and then road 132 from Quebec City to New Brunswick. You'll find among the most picturesque areas of the province and both roads have very little trafic since most cars use the highway which runs paralel to them.

I got this book and it's decent. It gives you a breakdown of tours in each province as well as the cross province route that you can follow if you're goin' straight accross the country.
