i think i have spotted the flaw...

    i doesnt work with wifes.

it has to be attractive young women that you have never met before.

the wife is a dead cert...if you know what i mean..

I maybe the only one here old enough to remember HI Karate. They had very clever commercial stating that the after shave came with instructions on self defense.
Horribly loud smelling concoction if I remember but this new stuff is definitely a ripoff of HI-Karate.
We already had Old Spice ,Brut and Aqua Velva of course it give the hardcore alcoholics something to drink which is probably better than wearing it .

    LOL :p

Well, at least it's working for someone.

Oh, and Mountain Pro, no attractive girls I've ever met have attacked either.

"It's called Sex Panther by Odeon; it's illegal in nine countries. It's made with bits of real panther, so you know it's good."

I have to admit, Axe really is a bunch of shit. I have only smelled it one time; the time when some fucker smashed a can of it on the ground in front of me.

i remember it very well...actually it was relaunched in the UK in 2001 without the tacky adverts.

it was a flop and quickly taken off the market....the stuff was rancid, who were they trying to kid?

Axe in the UK is branded 'Lynx'. Its the same stuff, logo, adverts and all, just a different name. Why do companies do that.

When i was in the states i say loads of Jap cars that we have in the UK also but they were called something different. The Mitsu Shogun is called something daft over there for example...

    why?

Hmmmmm, that's a very good question. You'd think that they'd save millions on just labeling and advertisements with keeping the same look and name world wide.

The only thing I can think of is that in some cultures, a certain name may have negative conotations, so they market it under a less controversial name.

You may notice a few imported Shogun's driving around badged as Mitsubishi Pajero's.

I'm not sure if it is true, or urban myth, but I was told once that "Pajero" is Spanish(or other) for "self pleasure". As I say, I'm not 100% sure if that is correct, or if I've won myself the Nobel Prize for gullibility. I'm sure somebody will confirm/scupper the rumour for me.

Always good to see somebody driving round in a 4x4 with the word "wanker" on the back of their car.

I use the Axe Body Spray and wash and I have received several comments both with clothes on and off at how good I smelled. I would not say that I was ever attacked but I have certainly scored several times with it being a conversation starter. To each their own. I had a girlfriend in the past always wear my shirts at night because the scent connected her to me through my shirt...I will never understand women...

the smell annoyed me if i put too much on, and i ended up trying to wipe the stuff off, and trying to make it go away.

as an alcoholic, i can tell you we prefer listerine. to drink, that is. our cologne of choice is hot sake, accidently spilled.
