Any one Using Viagra

it really is a human rights issue and could see some lawyers having a field day with this one.
Well.... the effect is only for about 4-ish hours per dose though I don't know how long it stays in your bloodstream after injestion.

I guess if you need a little "morning delight" before the race, you may have to lay off the performance enhancers there too. How it affects out of competition controls will depend upon how long it is in the blood.

My understanding is that there is now a study out there that suggests a performance enhancing ability in cycling (though other endurance sports are obviously in the same boat) at altitude. There was little - if any - benefit at sea level. Viagra is a vasodilator. (More on that here.) This makes sense, given what it does in its intended use. ;)

Hmm. Now I know why there so many good Master 45+ riders these days (not so 10 years ago). :D

So I need to get my "free sample pack" from the doc just before next years Deathride? LOL

I dunno man, I don't see a lot of boners in the parking lot. ;)

Oh yeah, and the benefits on the bike are pretty solid too, although taking too much can make you a bit chubby which hurts when climbing (on)! :D
That's why I switched to Cialis, since it lets me wait for just the right moment before getting the performance boost. Although, when the sexy jazz music queues-up it does tend to telegraph my attacks somewhat. :D

But now we're starting to see the real reason for all the saddles with holes in the middle... ;)

I was just reading how viagra possibly increases endurace in aerobic based sports. Does any one have any experience with this. Would using viagra benefit women endurance atheletes.
I hadn't really thought about it in the context of cycling, but folks have been using Viagra for high altitude mountaineering for quite a while now, it's supposed to reduce the incidence of pulmonary edema: http://articles.latimes.com/2004/dec/12/travel/tr-healthy12

But it looks like it helps some folks in high altitude cycling as well:
http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2006/06/060624120556.htm

But it's got the typical responders vs. non-responders issues. Another example of why cross the board doping doesn't level the playing field....

But what if the race lasted over four hours?

You know, I'm getting close to thinking that the only "solution" to the doping problem in sports is just to allow anything. The "War on Drugs" hasn't worked in society, and it's never going to work in sports. Think about it: no more drug testing, no more arrests, no more court cases, no more individuals and teams being suspended, no more suspicion about athletes who haven't been caught, etc. If you're willing to take a chance with your life and health, go for it.

As a 20hr + a week on the saddle rider I have used viagra a couple of times for ED related to a trapped pudendal nerve.

No matter what anyone says, sitting on a saddle for that amount of time is not good for your sex life, and I know that plenty of cyclists use viagra recreationally.

I think if they ban it there will be some challenges. Probably rather embarassing for healthy young men to have to go public on their viagra use though. I race in Holland, actually below sea level most of the time, so it would make no difference to my athletic performance. As far as being able to perform respectably in the bedroom the evening after a 6hr training ride though ;-)

I am glad that it is on the banned list as it would have made for some stiff competition besides some of the riders that may not have been up for a race would only get taller if they took it.
I imagine it could be useful if you were expecting a hard climb.
Especially in the harder mountin' stages.

For indoor or outdoor sports?
HELP! I need to lose weight fast! Can I lose weight if I have sex for 2 hours per day and then ride a stationary bike for 1 hour per day? If I was going to fast for like the next 6 years and just have sex and ride my stationary bike, will I lose weight faster and will Viagra help? Will I need a hole in my saddle? Will I need a hole in the front of my shorts? Do I have to be older than 45 to lose weight with Viagra? Will I need multiple partners who can keep up with my schedule?

:D

You'll never lose weight having sex for only two hours per day. You'll burnout, peak early and never get strong. The europros have sex for six to eight hours every day, the key is to have sex really slowly, eat a lot and get a good massage after every session.

There are some vile rumors floating about concerning some famous europros using Viagra to help them through their six to eight hours of daily sex, but that's ridiculous. They just maintain a higher thrust rate than ordinary folks, pay attention to all details of sex and carefully weigh all their food. The best sex pros actually have rising testosterone levels and increasing libidos during their annual midsummer 21 day orgy, something us mere mortals could never hope for. That strict work ethic is the key to sexual success but most pros are too lazy and don't get enough daily sex. :D

So what you are saying is that I have to optimize my SSS (sexual stress score) accumulation in a different manner. But do I have to cut back on SSS to achieve a peak and will that impact my weight?

Can Hunter and Andy help me manage my SSS?

Will Viagra help with my SSS? (Greg Lemond said that he could tell if Lance was doping with Viagra based upon a change in his SSS chart.)

Are you sick of my dumb posts?

... and that's why we all look forward to group rides in the spring after training solo in the basement all winter

Have you heard of the new training method using PowerSkanks? It forces you to maximize effort thrusting in and out - it kills your hamstrings I tell ya!
