Any opinions on the TANDEM BAR?

I just found this interesting tool which allows two seperate bikes to cycle together and act as tandem. I'm seriously considering to buy this. I just want to know how you guy feel about the functionality of this tandem bar.

I think its very functional, knowing that it had broken the guinness record on the longest tandem! speaks well of its stability...

As long as you want something to ride with your ten year old kid on a bike path at really slow speeds it is fine... if you think it will actually get you the benefits of a tandem forget it.
