I'm wondering if anyone can help me adjust my 105 Front Derailleur. It takes a while and a bunch of fooling around with to shift up. I'm contemplating upgrading the FD to an Ultegra. Also, how do you tighten up the brakes?

Don't waste your money on a ultegra FD. it will shift no better than a properly adjusted 105. Try the repair sction at www.parktool.com for derailer and brake adjustment. The FD may need nothing more than some additional cable tension,but don't go to the bank with that, as there are other possibilities. A Zinn maintenance book is good to have too.
