This bit of opinion was in the Grand Junction Daily Sentinel yesterday
(Saturday, 9/25/2004). Would anyone in that area care to write a
letter to them to respond?
"Bicyclists sharing the road with automobiles is very dangerous. The
danger comes from bicycles that ride down the middle of the road and
force cars behind them into oncoming traffic. When cyclists cause an
accident, they can't be located and held accountable. Maybe that's why
they don't want bikes registered."
"Force cars into oncoming traffic" indeed!
