Stay away... stay far away. The photos take away a piece of your manhood just by looking at them.

Hell, when we started hoofing it on that climb was when I finally gained some ground. I just had to
snap something while I had the chance. Scott emailed me last night and stated that there was a
significant increase in traffic on RidePhat. I told him it was because of the pic of Matt. Remember
what Mike Merrifield told us about rides and pushing the bike a bit.

Actually I don't. What did he tell us about that? That they are truly "gonzo" or something?

"Unless you have to push or carry your bike at least once, it's not a real ride"

Right. Now I remember. I still don't really agree (I don't think you or I pushed or carried on
Doctor Park that day), but I understand his point. Of course he seemed to push and carry his bike a
lot more than the rest of us that weekend!

Still a pretty cool guy for a politician!

I kind of like that theory on having to push a little. Going up Kannah Creek here in Whitewater
pushing is a must. The return down is worth the trip up.

I feel much better about all the pushing in my 600 metre vertical, 5km horizontal ride last
Friday... That was real for me. Especially in the really real sections.
