Anybody using a Tubus Fly?

I'm in the process of setting my bike up as my commuter. My old Topeak rack
was bent when I was run over, so I'm in need of replacement. The Topeak rack
and bag setup was very heavy. Time to lighten things up. The Tubus Fly looks
great. Small, narrow, light. My LBS wants to sell me Ortlieb
panniers---which I've heard are an excellent product, and made by the parent
company of Tubus. Nylon panniers don't do it for me. I'm looking at the
Carradice Kendal panniers, which are cotton duck with leather straps. Yes,
they may be a bit heavier than the Ortlieb but I like the idea they'll be
with me for 50 years. Anybody know if there are fitment issues with the
Carradice and the Fly?
