Hi, After being attacked last week - I'm interested in mapping the magpie attacks this year to help us cyclists avoid nuisance birds! I've created a basic website to help track these and would really appreciate if you could please make a visit to the site and record the details of your attacks and post any safety tips ? http://www.magpiealert.com/ The website is in its infancy so I'd really appreciate if those who have been attacked come and record the attack on the sites' google maps. Many thanks in advance Jc:big-smile:

Just a quick update.

Over the past week we've had 40 magpie attacks registered at the new website: http://www.magpiealert.com

If you've been attacked recently then please visit the site and register your attacks, and fingers crossed you will help prevent another cyclist falling foul of that bird.

Many thanks for your support

JC

So as magpie swooping season draws to an end it's time to take stock and analyse the statistics of the magpie attacks that you have shared at MagpieAlert.com.

I'd like to thank you all for taking part and wish you a safe remainder of the Spring!

Ps; I got swooped this morning by a minor bird
