I'm torn between a rivendell atlantis (but can't quite get the larger gearing i want with its wider rear chainstays/bb flair (it's been suggested to get mtn gearing for better Q factor)...
However i am looking for something more versatile, anyway: something between the rivendell rambouillet (faster geometry/audax/club rides) alongside the beefier and more versatile atlantis...hence my consideration of a custom
davidson.
(Or i could just be patient 'til end of spring and wait for the upcoming new rivendell saluki, which is supposed to have characterisitics of both the rambouillet and atlantis and aimed
at mid-weight loaded touring and light trail riding.
